La musica di Federico Bonetti Amendola si presenta come la ricerca di un autore che sembra non si debba appagare mai: ma dopo un attimo ecco che scompaiono esitazioni e dubbi e Amendola rivela la sua maturità, la sua consapevolezza.
Ciò che più mi affascina in lui è come passa dal silenzio a esplosioni allucinate, da geometria della mente ad abbandoni d’amore, e come sia attento a capire le esigenze di un testo e il suo mistero. La sua è una musica di meditazione, dove protagonisti sono i “lampi della memoria”.
È come se Amendola ci dicesse che, se l’uomo ha perso la parola, dispone ancora della musica della musica per interrogarsi e per esprimere il suo pensiero.

The music by [Federico Bonetti] Amendola appears to be an author’s never-to-be satisfied search of something: but that’s only the first impression.
Esitations and doubts disappear soon after that, and Amendola reveals his maturity and awareness.
What enchants me most of him is the way he goes from moments of silence to hallucinated blasts, from mind geometries to love abandones and the way he can understand a text needs and mystery.
His music prepares to meditation, where “memory flashes” are the main characters.
It seems like Amendola wants to say that man has still got the music to question himself and to express his thoughts, no matter if he has lost the power of words.
